Microsoft Office 2007 -- upgrading from 2003

Did anyone upgrade to Office 2007? If they did, do you like it? I just got Office 2007, and it's extremely different than 2003. Problem is I can't have both Office Systems installed at the same time. Which suite do you recommend I keep on my computer?

2007 is pretty bad ass and looks great, it's not that easy to learn btw.... and that's my issue with it, also the docx extension doesn't work with Office 2000 and under so if you just happen to use a older version of Word (2000), you're screwed..

But I think 2007 kicks 2003's ass in features....

I LOVE 2007. I got the Pro version for free from a Microsoft Vista Launch event.

If you have friends/coworkers/family that have an older Office suite, you can have them download an add-in that lets them open .docxurl==http://=http:///url and .xlsxurl==http://=http:///url file.

If I were you, I'd definitely switch.

I would keep 2003 for another year....and then do 2007

I for one am happily using 2007 and saving every single thing in 97-2003 compatibility mode

I really liked 2007, but my beta discontinued. I'm now waiting on a free version somewhere.

I got it from the power together thing or whatever, but I am selling it on ebay right now, haha. I don't really need it, but I do need money....

2007 is the tits. I love the new default font. I'm also running it in compatibility mode. If my boss found out I was running 2007, which isn't our corporate standard, he'd flip his wig. And, if I submit any school assignments in .docxurl==http://=http:///url format, I automatically get an F on that assignment.

Compatibility mode is a good thing.

I have gotten rid of Office 2003 and using Office 2007 right now. It works great and everything seems more 'advanced and modern; about it. Office 2003 is now ancient.

It takes up a lot of resources on my system though - but maybe that's because i don't have a lot of RAM memory.

I'm still using office 2003....I do like 2007 but won't use it for a bit.
