I bought this tv about a month ago ( http//www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=152131&AID=10405767&PID=1371119&URL=http )
and about a week ago I noticed horizontal lines going up my screen. Between the lines the picture is sometimes a little brighter looking. Theres sometimes two lines, sometimes 3. I only notice this issue on my Component 1 TV/VIdeo setting. It does not appear on any of the other settings.
Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? Is there a way to fix it or will I have to return my tv?

try to return it if you can or exchange it from the store for a new one because warranty is going to take you like 9 weeks atleast

Before returning it, I would try first off plugging another video source into that input, and also try some different cables. Sounds much easier than bringing the thing in for a return.
My guess the problem isn't the TV, but whatever you're playing through that input or the cords you're using for that input.

Since its only on that input, it's either what ILoveToys said, or something on the inside of the TV related to that input. If different components do the same thing, bring it back.
