[bff62c18533]fucking hell!!![/bff62c18533]

I am losing about 100mbs everyday. I have no fucking clue what is eating it up (probably "The Best Offers" pop-up which nothing seems to be getting rid of!!!).

And every day Real Player is updating. I changed the settings so it would not do that, but it continued. So I uninstalled it, yet it is still the first thing that shows up on FireFox's download list. FireFox updates and wipes out my bookmarks list and bookmark buttons. I find the old ones in the files, but not all are there, just the most recent bookmarks, which pisses me off.

What the fuck!!!!!?????!!!!!!!!
How the fuck can i track what the fuck is fucking up my computer???

And the laptop decides to have a "chattering" fit and slow down twice daily. Then it cries and offers me an error report!!

It was my cousin;s old laptop and she did not have any anti-virus before i bought it from her. But it was fine when i got it. I run AVG and have adware, NOTHING SEEMS TO GET RID OF "THE BEST OFFERS" though. I asked her if this happened when she had it and she said no. I have no clue what is eating my hard drive space!!!!!

My desktop and other laptop are in boxes right now as i am in the process of moving. As soon as I pull them out next month, i swear i am going Office Space on this laptop!!!!! But in the mean time, it is driving me crazy. My gf used to take it to class and download music, but I still run AVG weekly and heal the viruses that she would pick up roll

Please help. Because my next step is a louisville slugger to this MOTHER FUCKER!!!!!!!

This will probably freeze before i can even post it because here it goes chattering again!!!!!! evil

Try running a program called HijackThis (if you already did this ignore me). It gives you a whole list of running processes and a lot of other stuff. I'm don't know enough to help you with the results but someone else might. I suggest posting the results of HijackThis to http//www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/forum64.html[]http//www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/forum64.html Tell them that you've been having problems with "The Best Offers" and ask for help. It seems like they're pretty good at helping people out and know what they're talking about.

Here's someone from that forum who had the same problem.

Be extremely careful with HiJack This -- you can seriously fubar your system if you just start deleting things. HJT does not tell what is good or bad, it shows you EVERYTHING that loads and runs on your system, and gives you the ability to kill it. The vast majority of what it shows you, however, is legit.

Adaware by itself is not terribly effective. You really need to run more than one anti-spyware tool. I run Windows Defender and SpyBot -- between the two of them I'm always covered. A-Squared is a new contender in the anti-spyware market with a free version that has been rated higher than Adaware and SpyBot combined, so I may start using it instead.

Lots of these infections can only be fixed by an experienced person who knows how these work. Just deleting registry keys and files without paying attention to details such as sequence, System Restore status, what to do in Safe Mode vs regular boot, etc. will have little effect, because the system will just re-infect itself. I've done this quite often, and it can take a couple hours per PC sometimes to get it cleaned manually. If you don't have access to that level of expertise, your best bet is to reformat/reinstall Windows. Then immediately install AV and anti-spyware tools before doing anything else. Most importantly, change your habits or those of whomever might use your PC, so as not to engage in behavior that commonly leads to spyware infection.

Real Player sucks anyway. Use Winamp or Foobar2000.

Does AVG create a log of any actions it takes? If so, you may be able to scan through it and see what it's doing and anything it might be removing.

If you are having continues problems, here is a forum that analyzes your hijack this log and help solve your problem. It takes about three to five days to get an answer, but from what I have seen, they get the job done

Maybe a virus, I use Kaspersky and it tells me everything I have. Maybe a program you don't know about which is eating it up like a program with a virus in it, that is downloading shit in your computer. That is weird that your losing 100MB a day. Maybe disconnect from the internet completely for a day, and just have your computer run, then you will know if you have a internal virus or if it is something that is connected to the 'net that is infecting your computer.
