I just got a Treo and I want to get a bluetooth headset. What is the best one out there? I don't want to spend a ton but I want it to be nice (light, good battery life, etc.). What is a good place to look or buy them? I saw a nice one on Palm's site but I gotta believe there is better ones out there. Thanks and karma to all that help ;)

Ah, I didn't think of Newegg. I was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience as well...

Edit Newegg doesn't have anything good for cell phones...

I'd pick one off of Buy.com[=http//www.buy.com/retail/searchresults.asp?querytype=home&qu=bluetooth+headset&qxt=home&display=&dclksa=1]Buy.com. Google checkout while you still can. Sorry I don't know which one's the best, but if you decide post here because I've been thinking of getting one myself for my PS3.

I generally like Motorola's BT headsets the best. I started with an HS805 and moved to the H700. I like the design of the H700, especially the mini-USB charging, however it was very light and flimsy. One day it just disintegrated for some reason. I mean it literally fell apart in my hand and I lost the tiny buttons somewhere. So after reading some reviews I bought the Cardo Scala 700 from Amazon.[=http//www.amazon.com/Cardo-Scala-700-Bluetooth-Headset/dp/B000HD79J0/sr=8-1/qid=1166365728/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-6095109-6935158?ie=UTF8&s=wireless]Cardo Scala 700 from Amazon.

It's not as slick as the flip-out-boom style of the Motorola H700/HS850, and while it charges from USB it doesn't have the standard mini-USB connector. But it's difficult to turn on accidentally (a problem with the HS805 I had) and the sound is much louder than with the Motorola models. So overall I'm pretty pleased with it.

I've been using my Bluespoon AX2 headset for almost a year now and have no problems what-so-ever. It's a bit hard to get used to at first because the way it sits in your ear looks awkward at first (and it is) but it's quite comfortable. I also like the small size of the headset and the extreme lightweight of it.

The sound quality is great and it usually lasts for several hours of talk time before you have to recharge it; which doesn't take long either. With some other headsets in the past I have problems syncing with certain devices but never had any issue with the AX2 yet.

So after looking around I decided to go with the Motorola Wireless Bluetooth Headset HS850[=http//tinyurl.com/c3mo9]Motorola Wireless Bluetooth Headset HS850. I found it for $30 on PriceGrabber so I took a shot. I'll let you know how it works out...

I think you'll like the HS850, it's one of the most popular BT headsets on the market.

Yeah I didn't need anything super fancy. I'll use it mostly in my car. I need to find a car charger for it shrug

I have an HS850 and it really works well. Moto will replace them for free i f you have any problems with them, not matter where you bought them.
