I found some "old-skool" computer parts, and included was this. It doesn't have any ports on it and it's HUGE. It's made by Logicom Technology Inc, and it's model number is HDC-5150a. On it's main microcontroller it says, "WDCPIO/ROM ; Version 2.0 (C) ; July 16, 1984 ; Micro Mainframe" Can someone please identify this for me? Thanx!!!

Looks to me like an old ISA drive controller. It's hard to tell for sure from the photo, but looking at the rear of the card, I see what appears to be 3 sets of headers for ribbon cables to attach.

LOL, because I've seen and used about a zillion of them? lol

I'm an old fart, remember? Been doing this stuff since the early 80's. ;)

It could be a few other things though. Like I said the picture isn't that clear. It might also be some sort of mainframe terminal board. However those usually had external connections, and there aren't any on the bracket.

I just want Dmorris to post in a thread about something involving technology and honestly say, "I don't know". I don't think it's possible.

I've thrown out things like this. )

I actually tossed out a few IBM parallel and serial pci cards a couple of days ago that I forgot I had. I wish I took pics. They were so old they were actually breadboards. shock

I still have an old Intergraph video card that would put that pic to shame. It won't fit anything short of a server sized graphics workstation.

I only keep it to say my card is longer than yours. ;)

YEah that thing is ancient ..... usually with the long ISA boards they'd have the EISA, extension, but yeah I havn't seen or used one of these for quite some time...... I disposed of all the ones I had laying around from spare parts...

They are basically obsolete in my book )

Don't the heavens rain down fire upon the earth when that happens? Because I think it's been awhile. ;)
