Despite what I said about 360 modding being a joke, I want to chip mine so I can have some good multiplayer games for when my friends are over. That being said, I want the newest and/or best chip possible.
The main page of
http//www.xbox-scene.com/[]http//www.xbox-scene.com/ has a list of chips, which one of those would be best? Is there a better one not listed on XBS?
+Kma for help.
i am not familiar with the chips myself. I would just warn against modding in general. even though it likely will not happen a bricked 360 would stink. Also, I would think that u would want the ability to stealth the modding so that u can get on xbl

Yeah, all of these chips can be disabled with the flip of a switch.

Well for a good amount of 360s, u dont even need a modchip to play backups. The newer ones do maybe? Or maybe if you dont have a SATA chipset that works with the dvd drive u have?

I realize this, but I [i90fe300c62]want[/i90fe300c62] one, with a chip you can turn the hack off.

try asking at gamefaqs.com. Although you might get flamed.
GameFAQs' forums are used almost entirely by kids... I only go there if I need a walkthrough or code.
You're already aware of X-S, try digging around the boards and hear what other user's have to say about the chip you want to put in.
Personally, I wouldn't mod my xbox360 unless the chip can run unsigned code, otherwise it's worthless to me.
