Okay...so I got that new EnGenius adapter, thank you Tholek and dmorris.
Anywho...I set it up, runs great. The interface is 100% better than D-Link's.
Okay so...I tried to enable Super G on my adapter, and it attempts to connect to the router, and it connects, and it says connected 108 Mbps. Now, I tried connecting to my range extender...and the router, still no success. However, if I disable super G on the adapter, it works fine in 54 Mbps mode. Super G is enabled on the DI-624 (I have it set to Super G without Turbo so I can have it at channel 1), but if my adapter is set to work with Super G, it won't work. Can anyone tell me why Super G won't work, even though it's enabled on the router? ( I wasn't able to figure out Super G on my previous adapter either ).
Also...the adapter...it seems to be going slow. I downloaded new drivers for it @ 70 KB/s...but I'm on my laptop with a wireless G adapter...and it was going at 300+ KB/s. What seems to be the problem?
However...I set up my computer as an FTP, and used my laptop to access it from PC to PC, and my laptop was downloading it at 1+ MB/s, and my adapter on the PC was uploading at 1+ MB/s...I'm so confused. (
Edit My speeds are fine, I updated the drivers, and moved the adapter to a better position, however I still need Super G help. Any help I receive I will be greatful for.
Thanks,
Craig

I thought you already said the range extender doesn't support Super G? Why are you surprised?
Also, can't you get a decent signal from the AP without the extender? This [i7361e80d71]is[/i7361e80d71] a Senao we're talking about.

I get a 40% signal...but as I said, the range extender does have Super G, as does the router. It just won't work Super G either way, whether directly on the router or range extender. (
