Also, just incase this is the problem, I'm setting up an email account that is through my website (www.thecollegediscounts.com) What type of email address would I put that in as in Outlook?

Hmm, depends on whether it's POP3 or IMAP etc. You need to see what kind of email server your host has. Probably POP3, though.
Outlook and other programs have fields to insert the specific url info. Like mail.blah.com, or pop.blah.com etc.
Personally, if you have any hoitmail accounts you access through OE, I wouldn't uninstall it, or delete those accounts in it. You'll have no other client that will be able to access them short of Outlook itself.

Not that it helps the original poster but there is a program called eprompter that can check your mail and also send it without having to log into the websites. It supports all the free webmail sites I've seen. Pretty handy if you use a bunch of free email account so you don't have to access each one.

You can check out Thunderbird by Mozilla. Also Eudora has been around forever so it should be a pretty good program.

That sounds bloated to me. I also prefer POP3 retrievers, so I can use my current client. (I use YPOPs for Yahoo)

Well personally I have my own servers but for people that use multiple free accts it is very handy.
Also I'm pretty sure YPOP isn't really POP, it just makes it seem so on your end. Pretty much doing the same job as eprompter but for only 1 email site. Only thing is YPOP let's you emulate POP in email clients and eprompter has it's own interface(which isn't very pretty).

No, I know that. What I was saying, is that I don't need another client to retrieve my mail for me. A small proggy simply retrieves my Yahoo mail and converts to POP for my client. Show me another that can do that for many different servers, and I'd be happy.
Unfortunately, since Gmail offered free POP access, there's hasn't been much development in the area of POP retrievers. MS screwed over Hotmail Popper, and anyone with a new account too.
