My printer has both Black and Color ink in it, but it seems to only be printing pink and black and nothing more. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm pissed because I recently got this and it shouldn't be doing this. Dell's cartridges cost $30 for this sucker and its a flaming pile of shit...I guess I'm just gonna go without color for a while.
Thanks.

Why not just buy Dell compatible inks? Unless image quality is really important to you and you have a pretty good photo printer, buying the name brand cartridges seems like a big waste of money. I used compatible Epson's on my Stylus 860 for four or five years until I got my Canon iP6600d and I never had problems with using non-Epson inks. Kinda sucks that the Canon I have now doesn't allow compatible inks to be used but hey... at least cartridges (smaller though) are only $15
