I've been getting it easily twice a week for a month now.
The screen goes black, then that horrid blue screen and then reboots itself. You know how that goes oops
I've never really had problems with this in my computers, so I don't really know how to trouble shoot it. I know Google is a friend to this and every other problem, but just checking if anyone knows here. lol

I think your most likely screwed. Back your stuff up onto another hard drive and restore. I think there is one way to fix it, but its quite confusing and not really worth it...

Way too many causes of BSOD's... main ones are spyware, virus's, and the occasional memory error. Run MemTest86 or whatever it's called and the usual suite of anti-spyware stuff. System Restore helps sometimes for the minor stuff

Yeah, spyware check, virus scan, memory and registry scan. If that does not work, likr Aurelius said system restore might be able to help you. If not, you may have to reformat.
Also, could you post what it is in the blue screen of death?
Disable automatic system restart and post what the actual error is. Go to control panel, open System, click on Advanced tab, click on Settings under Startup and Recovery, and uncheck automatically restart. Click OK and then reboot the system so it saves. Next time it dies post the full error.

Hehe, funny you say that. I just reformated and that wasn't it. Although I didn't refomat because of that.
Next time it happens lisighli I will post it. I use Ad-Adware every other day, Spy Sweeper, AVG Pro.
Though I'm going to try that MemTest thing and perhaps, clean the registry? ?

Yeah, turn off automatic reboots after system crashes, THen check your Event Log. BSOD's always cause an event log entry to be written.
As was said, there are numerous causes of BSOD's. Hardware problems, to include overheating, overclocking, and memory issues, as well as driver glitches, are the most common cause of BSOD's. Marginal or failing PSU's can also cause them.

How do I turn it off automatically? Also no, no Dell here. Though it could be overheating since I haven't been able to clean it for a while because of work.

It's in System Properties. Right-click on My Computer and select Properties, or go to System in Control Panel. Once there, go to the Advanced tab, then click Settings under Startup and Recovery. Under System Failure, uncheck "Automatically restart."

Done and done, I hope it doesn't happen again. Although it seems inevitable.

I recently had this same problem with my ThinkPad. Turned out one of my RAM chips was bad. Took out one and my computer wouldn't even boot before blue screening. Switched that one out with the other and it worked fine. Having them both in caused random blue screens.

It will continue to happen. The blue screen has the code that tells you whats wrong.
This happened to my laptop...the RaM burned out.

Well it could be the RAM, since it's basically shit. Not to mention 3 years old.
I'm getting some soon anyways, hopefully that'll work out.

you shouldnt be jumping the gun just yet. You still dont know whats wrong. Wait till the blue screen pops up again and try to get the code on the screen.

did you run memtest first? run it overnight on a loop and see if you come up with errors. a lot of stuf can go wrong even if the hardware is perfectly good

I run it right off my motherboard's BIOS but yeah, that's the one.

I got an A8N SLI Prem, you think I could get it done that way? Or should I just go with the CD?

Go with the CD. Asus doesn't include Memtest on any of their mobo's (that I'm aware of).
I haven't seen a BIOS yet that actually includes Memtest. Which mobo do you have, Aurelius?
