I need a monitor for my mac mini, and I would prefer a widescreen 19"+ monitor for under $250. I'm deciding between these 2.. I don't know what the difference is between the two
Acer AL1916W Ab - http//www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16824009092
Acer AL1916WAbd - http//www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16824009091
Acer AL1916WAbd (open box) - http//www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...82E16824009091R
Anyone have any recommendations (even beyond these options)? I don't much about monitors... Also will any of these be able to hook in a coax cable input?
Any help would be appreciated.

Newegg is down ATM so I can't look at those Acer specs, but I can tell you that won't have a coax cable input. Computer monitors don't have TV tuners in them. ;)
Some higher-end monitors, like the larger Dell Ultrasharp models, have composite/svideo/component inputs for connecting a cable/sat box, DVD player, etc.
The only monitors you'll find with an included tuner are TV "monitors" that make really poor computer monitors for anything other than HTPC duties.
Dell and Samsung are my recommended brands of LCD monitors. However on a budget, Acer makes some decent LCD's. I don't like widescreens smaller than 24", I would have stay 43 at that size. 1600x1200 is my minimum working resolution, which means 24" widescreen minimum for me.

Dell makes nice LCDs. I have some Samsungs that I'm in love with.
Mine are a little more price but 20.1"
