Hey can somone point me to a better video editing program than windows home video? Also has to be free thanks!
All Im doing is going to add different scenes into one movie. Maybe add some recorded sound into it at some point.

well all programs can be had for free ;)
i use photoshop but that isnt free. check cnet and look for free ones with good reviews

Actually, I've used many of the commercial video editing packages, from the cheap consumer stuff to the pro-level stuff, and honestly... I prefer Windows Move Maker for capture and editing. I then edit menus/chapters and transcode with Nero Vision Express. This works great for about 98% of my video editing jobs. People don't give WMM the credit it deserves, and that's saying a lot coming from me since I'm not exactly a MS fanboy. ;)

Yeah duh... He edits videos frame by frame in photoshop.

i edit anime music videos on the side, the program i am most found of is adobe premiere or premiere pro. it also work in addition to photoshop and adobe after effects.
there is also sony vegas which i have tried a bit.
most of these have 30 day free trials, then you can decide to buy it, trash it , or hack it your choice,
