Anyone know if theres a program that automatically adds the album art to your itunes music? I have like 19 gigs worth of music in itunes right now so doing it manually would be a pain in the ass. A while I thought someone posted a link to a program that would download the album art off of amazon and add it automatically. ++++Karma for the first free program someone lists. Thanks.

I think the newest version of iTunes will get Album Art for you now too

Tag & Rename[=http//www.softpointer.com/tr.htm]Tag & Rename works well, although not free.

I really like it because it can search all the amazon.li sites for the corresponding album. I haven't tried the new iTunes though, so maybe it also searches more than your geographical location amazon site.

Yep, iTunes 7 handles album art very well, however there are still several albums in my collection that it can't find art for. I'll have to either search for it myself or scan my CD covers. The funny thing is I'm almost certain that a few of the songs it can't find art for were bought from iTunes, you'd think they'd have the art for all the songs they sell.

lol I thought when you download a song from itunes it comes with the art already? I don't download from itunes very much but all of the songs I have came with artwork.

Not with the older versions, unless I'm mistaken. I've only seen artwork featured in v7. I have iTunes songs purchased way back with v4, if not earlier, and they didn't come with artwork. However once I told v7 to get it, it found the artwork for most of my music, even my own rips. So if iTunes knows about the album it can find it, it just doesn't have all albums. And I could be mistaken about any of the ones it didn't find coming from iTunes, but I'm almost positive at least a couple did. shrug

Every song I ever downloaded off iTunes had album art.

Anything not on the iTunes Music Store catalog won't fetch album art (i.e. The Beatles)

When iTunes can't find it, i use iTunes Art Importer (http//www.yvg.com/itunesartimporter.shtml[]http//www.yvg.com/itunesartimporter.shtml) and that pulls from Amazon.com and is free.

Cool, but it looks dated. Says it works with iTunes 4.6/4.7. Have you confirmed compatibility with iTunes 7?

If so, thanks, I'll be checking this one out.

Yeah. Works on iTones7. I had no problem using it for my bootleg Clapton albums that iTones music store doesn't have covers for.
