I have a referral on Sidekick that's been waiting for a manual credit a long time. She got frustrated and did another & it didn't credit either. She's my last ref & I really want to cash out...........

The fact that almost all the descriptions of the offers are/were wrong and ones that said money back guaranteed were not so I wound up losing money on my ref for cash deal. $27 dollars to go green and i got paid $25, when both offers were "free" and "money back guaranteed" Just thought the site would compensate me for their mis advertising. My only complaint on this network.

EDIT YourGiftsFree fixed my complaint! They decided to compensate me for my loss and I think they really know how to please their users! Thanks again YourGiftsFree!

My first site when I started freebi sites just happened to be YGF Wasnt a plesent expierance for me. although I have not had any problems with any other site owner. Not to say I havent made a few mistakes with other sites. I was told one other time that I violated tos but we talked about it and they are now one of the sites I recomend to all new users at least 30-40 a week. But they understood new folks somtimes make unfortunate mistakes, correct the problem and move on.

You post a message asking people what their biggest complaint is. If you have read any of their posts in the “Scammers and Problem Traders” forum, you already know.

Traders, myself and my referrals included, have supported you by completing legitimate offers on your sites, offers that you get paid for by your affiliates, only to be denied credit.

In the eight weeks since I completed the “instant credit” offer, I have submitted 5 credit requests, opened 5 support tickets, and sent you multiple PM’s trying to get credit. Now one of my referrals who completed an offer a couple weeks ago is going through the same thing.

It does no good to talk to you. Your response is nothing more than cheap rhetoric, and always the same. “Sent to affiliate”.

If you get denied manual credit, we do NOT get paid for that offer completion. All we can do is send your request to the affiliate and keep asking them for an update on your credit request.

The person who refurred me to giftcards.yourgiftsfree.com was wanting a quick green. I completed 2 offers, made sure I cleared cookies etc. One offer went green for .5 credits, The second never showed up. I completed a third offer for a full 1 credit. After a few days it still did not show up. I submitted a credit request on this. It has been 3 weeks and still no green. NOW HERE IS THE WORST PART. While doing another site unrelated to YGF for someone else, I did an offer for Stamps.com. After a few min, I recieved an email from from YGF stating that I signed up for the offer through them. (yes I forgot to clear cookies this time). The offer was completed I recieved the product and am keeping it. BUT YGF HAS NOT GIVING ME CREDIT FOR THIS GREEN EITHER. SO FAR I HAVE COMPLETED ENOUGH OFFERS TO EQUAL 2.5 CREDITS. I am still only showing .5 credits.

I have submitted to credit request for stamps.com but both have been denied.

The credit request has been denied. To get manual credit, your request must fit these credential's. 1.) When you submit for manual credit, it must be 7 or more days since you did the offer. 2.)You must have all the headers. Here is how you can get them. http//mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=22454&topic=43

I haven't spent any time on any YGF site yet, but just took a look at the college site which peaked my interest because I guess you can reset your account and keep on getting prizes over and over. I like this method when I can find a site that has both great customer service and great crediting history. After reading this entire thread, it seems that the crediting consitency is a major issue and makes me a little nervous about signing up and sending in referrals. Also, after glancing through the offers, not only does it seem there are very few full credit offers, but most of them don't credit instantly, many of which do though on other sites. So, the biggest detractor for me in joining a YGF site would be the crediting consitency and the lack of instantly credited offers. However I did read that all offers will be going to instant soon, posted by the owner I believe. If this happens I will be happy to consider this site.

From my experience in completing like 6 of the sites, not really. All the offers i did on the site always credited either instanly or next day except 1. It credited 5 days later.

I never however had problems with people creditting. I think most creditting problems occur on the users end because of something they did wrong along the way or their browser not being setup correctly

I posted an earlier message about your poor cr non-existing crediting for my, and my referral's, legitimate offers.

Your response was If you get denied manual credit, we do NOT get paid for that offer completion. All we can do is send your request to the affiliate and keep asking them for an update on your credit request.[/colorea72a33895]

When traders apply for manual credit from you, they have to prove their status by submitting confirmation emails (with headers attached) from the affiliates. Traders also have to wait a minimum of seven days before they can ask you for manual credit, even for offers that are listed as crediting instantly, or they are automatically denied.

As traders, every piece of information submitted to you by us is scrutinized and examined very closely. You insist that we prove and verify everything with written documentation, or we do not get credit for an offer, or a newbie gets put on hold for not crossing the right "t". These are understandable practices implemented to protect you from fraud and from losing money.

Well, traders need protection too. When we do not get credited for completed offers, we lose money. Like you said in your response to my last post, you do not get paid if the offer credit is denied by the affiliate.

How do we know that the offer was denied? Where is your "confirmation email with headers" proving what you claim is true? You have mine, where is yours? I have been asking you for over two months to credit my offer, but you claim that you haven't received credit from the affiliate.

No problem, please send me a copy of one of their email responses, there should be six or seven of them, to your requests about my offer. Please attach headers.

Thanks

I really like the YGF sites, and have done several. I usually don't have problems with my offers crediting, and YGF has gone out of his way for me several times when refs of mine were experiencing missing credit delays.

My biggest complaint - All of the offers that say $1.00 and aren't. I've looked at several lately, trying to do a trade for someone, and two of the alleged $1.00 offers were actually $34.95 and $36.95 for the lowest price membership, which is what the requirements said was what you needed. Why put $1.00 when it's not even close??? There are several others that say $1.00 and are actually $5.95 or more, and generally anything that says "Free" really isn't (with a couple of exceptions).

So, honesty up front about cost would save me a lot of time. The two offers mentioned above didn't even give you the cost until you'd been through 10 or 12 steps first, and wasted probably an hour of my time for nothing. And I still can't find a reasonable offer that I haven't already done..........

you need to add sirius to ALL the sites for a full cred since it's $40+ up front to complete )

Also.. allforone needs more offers. 1/4 credit is crappy when you've done so many offers on other sites.

1.) I finally completed the site and ordered a Wii. It got approved, and I was good to go. The next day, though, I get an email telling me to contact you.... So I contact you and all I get is a one sentence email telling me you are out of Wiis... So I send an email back asking what I can do or for any information, and get no response. I open a support ticket that has been read, and still no response. I'm sitting on AIM waiting for you to sign on but no such luck. I don't think I'm being unreasonable, I just want to know if there will be a new shipment, what my options are, if I'm screwed, whatever.

I think someone brought this up in another thread and I don't know if you have addressed it yet, but I think its a good a idea if you could make partial credit referrals add up. So if a referral does only .25 worth of credit they can add up with another user or two to equal up to one full credit.

I have finally completed laptops.yourgiftsfree (I hope) I am still in the approval stage after one of my refs went red to begin with, I have now replaced it, but still waiting (day 3). It said accounts will be approved/denied within one business day. Might want to change that message if it is not adhered to.

I also had a bit of a problem when I sent messages trying to get a better idea of what one of the laptops had(ie specs, cd/dvd drive, etc) I still only have a vague idea. I wanted this info so I could decide which machine to go for, in the end I just basically had to take a shot in the dark. I hope I am not disappointed ?

Hi, same issue. That I posted above.

marketingman0069

23-05-2007 20:54:04

Biggest complaint is that you can't add up partial credits to get a full one. With sites that have many offers that only credit fractions of a full one, often times they just give up on going green after they complete .5 credits or whatever. As the site gets padi for these successfully completed offers, I think we should to as we're basically putting business in the site's lap. Many of the really great sites do this and I'd like to see this network jump on the bandwagon. Thanks )

Not a complain, just a suggestion that I think would be helpful to users.

I think it would be pretty cool if we could enter somewhere next to the person's email what forum they are from, their username and how much we agreed to pay them. I know I can do that in excel, but I just think it would be easier and nicer to just have everything all in one spot. I'm not sure if that is even possible with the site script.

Allforone.yourgiftsfree has some real trouble crediting users. Most offers charge the users anyway and claim an "ERROR" on the confirmation page, with no confirmation email sent. Users are stuck with canceling offers before they are charged a horrendous amount for something they never even received credit for.

Freebidding is especially guilty of this---as are a few others. These offers are cheap, but when a few of my refs have to fill out between 6 and 9 offers to green--there is a huge problem.

I have never had an issue with yourgiftsfree (besides crediting here and there)--but allforone has just got to improve its crediting. I have refs who give up at 0.75 credits! And since there is no combining of credits, I lose 100 dollars for that ref.

Not good...

My problem is that you have to keep asking (as with many sites) if your credit was denied or not. If the site got back to me without me having to ask constantly, I would know if I needed to do another offer before having to wait a month. I did Men's Health a month ago, and I explained to the company why I was unable to continue, but yet I had to wait for a month just to discover I [iedea9dd80d]may[/iedea9dd80d] have to do another offer. If I had known this I would have done something else and greened far sooner, and YGF would have been paid far sooner as well. So YGF, if you could find a way report denied credits sooner this would definitely make you stand out in my books. I don't only do sites for myself, I consider how easy and helpful they would be to my refs.

As soon as we hear back from the affiliates, we generally update the manual credit status. It can take between 1-4 weeks to get a response back, however, but we can't update the status if we haven't heard back. If more than 4 weeks have passed without an update, thought, then it is a good assumption that your request has been denied by the affiliate, even if we haven't heard back from them with an official answer.

just thought id post my opinion since he's getting crapped on for crediting.

note that crediting can take MONTHS to report. this is the same for every site, not just ygf but also trainn, free4me, etc.

so i dont think anyone should be complaining about "not getting credit" from this company.

but i dont have FSR but im pretty sure you can view your mcr's and theyre status. if he doesnt update those, thats a different story

Not a complaint, but more so advice You really should update laptops.ygf.

I just Googled all the models on there, and short of the MacBook, all are discontinued, or OOS.

Compaq V3000T
HP DV6120US
Dell E1705
Acer AS3102WLMi

I know you do custom orders, but updating to current models, or even switching up some brands, would make that page more inviting to do in the first place. A ThinkPad wouldn't hurt either, but that's just a personal preference. ;)
