You should hold a Texas Hold'em Poker tournament for people who sign up between time frame x to y.

1st place 2 referrals
2nd place 1 referral
3rd place 1 referral

what if you ran a promo where for a week or so anyone who signed up unrefferred would recieve a bonus payout when they complete there prize or would get a t-shirt hey that would be smart you get people wearing those t-shirts and not only are they happy cause everyone here likes winning but you also get free advertisment.

I myself like bonuses on cashouts. Do something like the first 10 people to cashout with 7 (or more--w/e your style) refs gets a $100 bonus, the next 20 get a $50 bonus, the next 30 get a $25 bonus and the next 40 get a $10 bonus. That's 100 users getting bonuses!

anyone who submits their order between march and april gets $(ref amount multiplied by 30) on top of their prize! there is then a raffle in which everyone gets a chance to win a piece of $500. the more people there are, the higher the prize. the less people there are, the lower the prize.

first place - $150
second place - $100
third place - $80
rest - (divide $170 by rest of people)

I'm still working on it, so it may not appear so great.

Euchre tournament.

The poker idea is pretty good but it's not quite developed.

So, to participate you have to complete two offers that YGF chooses. And the more particpatants, the bigger the jacket pot.

You can easily get free poker cilents online and create a room that would allow you to custom select the jackpot.

The winner of the game gets all of the cash and it would be a pretty sweet way to pass the time.

We also cant do any poker/ where you have to be a certain age competitions. I will update the first post with ideas that are possible. Keep suggesting!

awww....but 100 users! with at least 7 ppl in their downline (or some other arbitrary number that makes more sense)= 700 users on ya site! /

How about a plasma style raffle with a person doing 1 bigger offer or two smaller ones, and more people win. Instead of picking 1 person with like $2k or $1k and another with like $100, how about have 5-6 winners. Divide the money between more winners so there is a greater chance of winnings for everyone. 5-6 winners, You win, you chose the prize promotion. Paypal, phone, movies, etc.

Idea #2

Halo 3 looks to be the big thing coming up. Why not have a Halo 3 promotion with a non cc offers? Complete a non-cc or a regular offer and then you reserve a copy of Halo 3 for us. What if you could make it so no one has to sign up for a site just like your $200 promotion?

You can now submit 2 ideas. Also, if I said your idea cantwork, you can still submit 2 more.

Let's see, you would require to complete one or two (cc or no cc) offers for a jackpot depending on x amount of participants. The prizes could be cash or even a copy of Halo 3!

Instead of a random draw where it is based on chance, how about you tell a funny personal story.

The story can be judged by YGF and a few mods if they dont want to participate.

It would be pretty interesting as we would get to know each other a bit better and establish more of the whole freeipodguide community spirit!

Second Promotion

This can be as big as people want it to be. You either complete 1(cc) or (no cc) offer or two depending on what the prize is as it can be custom ordered. But instead of distributing it among one person. Smaller cash values and little prizes would go to lets say the 2nd, 3rd and so on places.

Instead of a random draw again, how about an iron chef cook off? YGF will reveal a key ingredient and you guys would have to take pictures of yourself while cooking the food and it will be judged by various criteria. And this is where the smaller prizes come into play since it would suck if you waste ur time, effort and money if you don't win anything.

Promo #1

How about a Keno-esque lottery? To enter, you must complete 1 referral within a time frame. An additional ticket can be rewarded for completing a site within the given time frame. Number range will be 1-1000. Users will send a support ticket choosing their number. Afterward, you'll post the number on the forum. The five people who have come closet to the number will receive 1 green. You can decide to choose another number, or multiple numbers to reward more people.

Promo #2

Users submit a picture designed to grab attention. You choose the 5 you like the most and pit them against each other on a forum poll. This can be a picture of your dog doing something stupid, yourself if you're a hot girl, or some amazing landscape. To qualify you must complete a sign within the given time frame. Winner gets a green. Then you can decide to hold additional polls, etc.

Some of these ideas are great an interesting but, I cant give out big prizes with no entry free of some sort! They need to enter some how.

Im, guessing that youre a good cook? And i would rather have a promo that doesnt involve a lot of my time other than being on the internet beacuse I have a life and a job and go to college and I dont think that it would be fair to most ppl if a promo involved time off of the internet.

Catch my drift? But the cooking thing would be a good idea, just think its a little too much though.

How about a certain time frame in which you can allow users to do extra offers. Half of the extra offers will count towards their referrals, the other half go towards some sort of raffle for a bigger prize.

For example
User A does 2 bonus full credit offers. He gets 1 referral knocked off of whatever prize s/hes going for(2 full credits divided in half = 1), and also gets 2 tickets into the drawing for the bigger prize.

why you cant do poker? its easy in order to do a tournament in paradise poker you just open a room where you host it, then create a password and allow people only with passwords to come in, which will be those people who did some sort of offer. I think everyone here knows how to play poker and likes it...

I think you should do a madden tourney (trying would like this idea). Each person would have to sign up and complete an offer Unreferred on one of your sites to enter the tourney.

Not everyone has Madden.

How about get around 20 people to do one offer, and have a raffle for $1000 (1st prize), $500 (2nd), $250 (3rd and 4th) or an item(s) equivalent to the amount they one (that the winner chooses)

Raffles are definitely a crowd favorite; however, I think we need something more original YGF hasn't done before.

Halo 2 tournament on xbl. Complete a offer to be entered, then do FFA's until your down to top 8 or so depending on amount of people. Then do 1 v 1's to figure out who is the best. Winner take all. or If a lot of people have halo 2 could do double team or teams. Each team member completing a offer.

So far I like the euchre and poker idea. I'm amazing at euchre.

I cannot do any card gambling games, updated list.

Create a new prize called "raffle ticket" on your sites. It will cost 1/2 a credit to redeem it. Then hold monthly drawings with the prize being worth $25 x # of entrees. This will help people in many ways!

1) Do an easy 1/2 credit offer for a chance to win big bucks
2) Use up some of those 1/2 credit referrals you have
3) It will increase traffic for trades. Soon people may even start paying for "1/2 a green".

If there are enough entrees, you could also have a 2nd and 3rd place prize. (Or you can always give unreferred greens out as a runner up prize)

How about a catchphrase contest. Users who want to participate can sign up unreferred and complete an offer and submit their made up YGF catchphrase (current one stinks ;)). Then we make a poll with YGF's favorite catchphrases (maybe 5-10). The winner gets the pleasure of their catchphrase being used AND $250 (could be changed depending on the number of participants). Everyone likes making up catch phrases )
