laptop question

please forgive me if i break some sort of rule. i haven't been on this site in months.

i need a new laptop BAD and YGF looks pretty good.
i'm comparing specs of the ones available and only the HP is described.
i've searched online for the others and they are ones you sort of build up.

my question is, when you finish all your referrals and order your laptop, are you given options for the laptop? do you get to choose whether you get a DVD burner or ROM? things like that. i would assume that more options = more referrals, but there's really no info on the page and i want to make sure i know what i'm getting before i order it.

also, does anyone know what model of iBook you'd get?

Well we are currently going through some ongoing updates on the Laptops site, hence some of the items are without specs. If you find a laptop somewhere that you like, such as on amazon.com or another site, with all the extras that you want, like the burner, dvd, etc. you can pick that out and show us the link in a custom order, and we will set a referral amount for you. If you like one of the laptops on the site, just pick that laptop and open a support ticket with the certain extras that you want and a final cost and we will again let you know of a ref amount.

Basically, $40 per ref. Take any amount, divide by 40, and round up to the next whole number. That's the refs you need. Right, YGF?

The only unknown would be whether you got a wholesale discount or something. If you could negotiate a better deal than us, that could reduce the ref count. Of course since you order these one at a time, that's unlikely I guess.

basically i just want something with a DVD-RW and is relatively current with software, speeds etc.
ideally also i want something small, none of the 17" widescreen laptops.....

any ref guesses on an Apple with DVD-RW?

well the thing is i can find one on ebay that i like....prices vary everywhere. amazon has used/refurbished ones also. i found one i liked that is $979 refurbished or $1799 new.

The total cost would be however much you'd be able to get without doubles. If you're going to test run availability I want complete games(original case and manual included) and any peripherals with original boxes. Theres also a list of games I already have. I lost two long support tickets I typed out. If I catch you on AIM I'll contact you there.
