Okay, so it's a Gateway 450SX4. The SN is 0026974665. It has Windows XP Professional. The battery doesn't hold a charge. It has an internal modem and an internal network card. I can include a wireless card. 2 USB ports, 1 firewire port, 2PCMIA slots, CD-RW drive. Pentium4M 1.40GHz, 512MB of RAM, 40GB hard drive. I can wipe the hard drive or send it with MS Works, MS Office Tools, MS Word, MS .NET,url==http://=http:///url MS Visual Studio.net 7.0, Windows Media Player, Symantec AntiVirus, some mp3s, and some other misc programs.
If you're interested, make a realistic offer.

How much to replace the battery? What would you consider to be a reasonable offer?

Looks like you can pay anywhere from about $35 to $80 (plus shipping). If you have a local repair shop, they might be able to hook you up with one for a good price. Since the starter of this thread hasn't replied, I'll start a new one for this.

I have an old router around here somewhere I could give you too. And when you say you are "looking for something more", what exactly do you mean? They specs that I listed will be fine for doing anything except stuff like serious audio/video/image editing and graphic-intensive online gaming. Not to mention that if you're wanting higher performance, you're talking higher price too.

I have a Toshiba laptop that is 2-3 years old. I just put a new hard drive in it. It has a 1.66 GHz Pentium processor, 1 GB of RAM, 15.4 inch tru-brite screen, internal Wireless internet Card (you can wirelessly go onto any Wireless internet connection... just need a cheap $15 wireless router in your house), and more.
It's in perfect condition. Let me know if this sounds good to you at all.
