Hey guys,

I just got an e-mail from a friend who alerted me to this deal that Microsoft is doing for students. Apparently if you can provide them with a valid e-mail address from an accredited university, you can purchase the entire Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 software for only $59.95. I just looked it up on Best Buy's website, and they're selling it for $645.99.

Not sure if this is legit or if it's the real deal, because I haven't ordered it myself, but it looks legit and I've heard from a few people that said they successfully ordered it.

Here's the link

Just thought I'd give you guys a headsup. It says it's good through April 2008, so no big rush I guess. )

If you visit your IT on your campus they should be able to make copies for any software that you want... at least thats what mine used to do.

Bugger, I need a university email account to get it. Anyone have one of those I could use? I still have Office circa 1997 on my machine.

Well, if you're not a university student, you shouldn't be using a University license, now should you?

Yeah, but I'm sure there are students out there who don't need it or want it, and would be willing to order it for Big War Bird using their valid university e-mail. Then, they could just give it to him, and he could make a generous $59.95 donation to them cuz they are poor college students. That's perfectly legit. ;)

And if you have college license it is good even after you are done, so who really cares....The software isn't really worth much more that 60 bucks anyway.
