Toshiba HD-A2 is on sale for $238.88

Amazon is taking off the price of one of the HDDVDs from the price ($27.95) so it comes out to $211 after the rebates for the 5 HDDVDs if you get the A2.

This is also working for the PS3 and Bluray titles where you get the PS3 and 8 discs for $472.

The additional discount doesn't work on the 360 external HD DVD drive but you can still get the 8 discs.

I probably would've bought the 360 drive long ago had the 360 been reliable but now I'm really tempted to get that ps3. Sell off those BR discs and it's like getting it for $300.

I was thinking the same thing, just ebaying those bluray disks but how much do they go for on ebay? If I can get at least 150 off the price of the ps3 I'll buy the ps3 when I get home.

8 brand new sealed blu-ray titles (if they're popular) can definitely get you $130-$150 selling them on ebay (that's about $20-$22 a piece).

I say go for it man.

I find the quickest way to unload your discs is through AVS or HighDefDigest, I've seen 20+ discs in a single thread half sold in less than an hour.
