I think they're scamming, I paid for the ipod video and it's still not here. He claims to have shipped on the 17th.....

I opened a claim with paypal.....

I bought 2 giftcards and he said he shipped them last monday. I still haven't received anything, but I opened up a paypal claim as well.

It's been less than a week since he says he shipped but I really hope you guys at least made sure to verify that he was the same guy on ebay by using their messaging system.

If it wasn't for the no threadcrapping rule I would've said something sooner, but buying $100+ worth of stuff from a new 0 TR member here is very risky, if not outright foolish. I wonder if we shouldn't have a rule where the 0 TR seller must ship first and can sell only to decent TR members (to protect the seller) since some members here may need to be saved from themselves.

Well, I meant that this should've been done BEFORE sending him hundreds of dollars. It's posssible that the real ebay seller doesn't know wtf you're talking about and that's why they don't respond. Since this ebay seller is no longer selling anything, maybe it really is this ebay seller who is just being unresponsive. Who knows.
