How do I make sure the molex connectors have through put??

Do you mean "How do I make sure the connectors match?"
If so, some fans have standard 4-pin AMP molex connectors like drives (which allows better compatibility), but I prefer three pin ones that connect directly to the mobo to allow speed control. You can only control 4-pin ones with a drivebay controller. (There's 2-pin also but it's less common, and mini 2-pin for GPU fans as well)
