I live in Texas. I don't need help. But that reminds me my bday is coming up which means 4th of July. Fuck yeah for fireworks (have not shot them off in a long long while).

Yeah, I noticed here in Texas they have a lot of those huge warehouses with fireworks. When I was in Katy I would see one everyday and now that I am in Beaumont / Port Arthur, I still pass one everyday. And back home in Louisiana all we have are those little firework sheds that open 2 weeks before the New Year and the 4th.

I'm pretty sure those huge firework warehouses are open just for a couple weeks around new years and the 4th too. They just evolved from the little sheds. I buy them occasionally, but they are never that cool that I feel the need to risk jail time or losing my car to light them.

Also someone lit a field across from my house on fire one 4th of july when a bottle rocket landed in it.

I have never heard about this destroy your car thing it sounds like bullshit. We need some citations on that.

i highly doubt they DESTROY your car... many of my friends have gotten searched and seized for drugs, illegal substances, etc.... no smashed cars yet

I'm thinking they seize the car to impound it and search it...not as a source of revenue...

PA fireworks suck. I live in PA and many fireworks are legal here, but they arn't much fun. I did have a hell of a good time in Ohio though. I went to Cedar Point with my friends and there was a firework store right next to the hotel. We had some good nights of drinking and fireworks, till the cops rolled through and told us to go inside. roll
