Wedding Gown

I have a wedding gown that I would LOVE TO SELL. There is nothing wrong with it, the dress served it's purpose and now is taking up space. The original cost of the gown was $900; however, I did wear it .. so ... I am willing to let it go for $350, I will pay the shipping. The price can be discussed. It is a size 16 which will fit a 12-14 pant size, it can of course be altered. It's an off-white with red. The breast and train are beautifully jewled. I was just married last month so the dress has not been sitting. I am including a link to my 'MySpace' account so the dress can be viewed. Those of you with real interest please PM me and I can send you pictures of close ups.

Please if you know anyone who may be interested in a dress pass the info along, as I live in a small home and could really use the extra closet space. D

LMAO I am not at all attached to my wedding dress, its just a dress and it cost too much money and after my wedding I took it off and got into a hippy skirt and tank top with no shoes, lol.

It's surprising to me. I'm with Manofice on this. I thought most women would sooner sell their house or car before their dress. The same with baby clothes too.
I guess if you have a daughter, she'll have to buy her own. "Thanks mom" roll
;)

I look at it this way, there was no way in hades I was gonna wear my MOTHERS dress in my wedding and I would purchase my daughter a new dress that she wanted, not force her to wear mine, lmao. Theres other things from my wedding more sentimental than my dress. I was thinking about donating it to someone less fortunate and could not afford one.

This is why I'm going to make my own, and it won't be white. That way I get a cool dress that I want to keep and wear again.

Maybe secretly she is....[/quote412ced208d]Possible. Except for two things
A. Jenny is Canadian.
B. My girlfriend would probably have art as her avatar, being an art major ...
Unless she's being sneakier than she's ever been...and I've known her a long time. Lol.

My dress currently resides in my in-laws upstairs closet. Whenever we visit, my girls go upstairs, dig it out and try it on. They're 4 and 6 so it's pretty funny to see them in this big, white cream-puff of a dress. I figure since it gives them 15 minutes of fun every 6-8 months, I'll keep it. Now if only [iee9a035ec9]I[/iee9a035ec9] could fit into it again...
Re selling your dress, have you looked into consignment shops? Worst case scenario is you could donate it and get the tax write-off. Good Luck!

Thats true, I know my radio station was doing this thing where girls donate their dresses for people who can't afford them...then you could write it off as a donation on your taxes. For my wedding...I donated money to the church the rev. was from...I wrote that off in my taxes..
