$25 From ING Direct

The online back ING Direct will give you $25 if you open a new account and deposit $250. You don't have to keep the $250 in there, but you do have to keep your account open for 1 month to be credited the $25.

Yeah you have to keep the 250$ in for 3 months to get the money. I just recently opened a online banking account and went with HSBC because you get a ATM card and the APR is higher. Its like 5.05% compared to ings 4.5% and 6% until like april 31s or 1st.

I have absolutely no problems transferring monies back and forth between my checking and ING Savings. Much like Paypal, your ING account is linked to your regular bank account. The current Annual Percentage Yeild is 4.5% for a regular savings account. A one year CD is currently 5.1%
