I got this from SD - http//forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?t=438049
HANNspree Xv 32 inch Widescreen LCD HDTV with HDMI for $499 shipped
Not too sure about HANNspree but here is a 32" LCD HDTV for $499 shipped without any rebates. Might not be the best, but it doesn't look that bad ESPECIALLY for $499. Buy.com has some reviews and that SD thread has some people talking about it.

It's unavailable right now. It was just another budget lcd tv, here are the cnet reviews (even a video).
http//reviews.cnet.com/Hannspree_Xv/4505-6482_7-32146139.html?tag=prod.txt.1
[quote9f21767deb]The good Inexpensive; relatively good shadow detail; solid standard-definition performance; numerous aspect ratio controls; user menu for color-temperature adjustments; classy design.
The bad Produces a light color of black; introduces more false contouring than other LCDs; reddish tinge in darker areas; no noise reduction; skimpy input selection with just one component-video and one HDMI port.
The bottom line Average picture quality doesn't prevent the Hannspree Xv 32-inch LCD TV from being a solid choice for budget flat-panel buyers. [/quote9f21767deb]
They said it was a good TV in it's price range.
If you don't mind recertified TVs, newegg has some great deals. Here is an example of just Olevia TVs. http//www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?DEPA=0&type=&Description=olevia&Submit=ENE&N=0&Ntk=all&Go.x=0&Go.y=0
