Anyone seen these around their town lately? They are DVD rental Kiosks that appear around McDonald's in certain cities. They have $1 a day rentals, and you can enter various promo codes to get the a free day, essentially making it a free rental if you return it on time.

anyways go to redbox.com to see if you have a location near you, and redboxcodes.com to get a list of promo codes.

I have rented about 10 free dvds in the past month with this, they have most new titles, and most are available for me.

Sadly, no locations within 20 miles of me.

Seems like it would be good for the occasional movie, but I think it would end up being more costly than Blockbuster Online or Netflix for a long term thing, though.

we've had them here for a few years now, and they're all over the place. www.insideredbox.com always has updated codes

Yeah i've tried using them like 6 times. Everytime the dvd was damaged. I just gave up on them.
