IPOD ear buds

If you have a pair of new IPOD ear buds that you don't want, i will take them off your hands for a few bucks. My puppy chewed mine. x

Seriously, the newer iPod earbuds suck. Not that the previous version was great, but they were better than the current ones. I bought replacement in-the-ear earbuds for both mine and the wife's new iPods and they're much better. Paid $20 for the wife's JVC ones and $40 for my Sony's.

Go to the iPod Warranty and Repairs web site and get a free replacement set of iPod earbuds there.

This is cool - I just ordered replacements cuz mine are crackly from being in my bag all the time.

I got my iPod headphones replaced three times because I keep biking with them and accidently shearing the cables to pieces if I accidently get a bud stuck in my wheels. But like people have said, they're pretty crappy in terms of sound quality but for the price (free) they're decent. I like how they come super fast via FedEx and they even pay for express shipping of the shattered parts back to them. Wonderful CS in my opinion. D

Also, get some IEM's, your ears will appreciate it. I used to get weird ringing in my ear from listening to music at too high of a volume (to block out subway noises) but now with Super.Fi 5 Pro's, music is crisp and perfect even at really low volume.

My earbud was never "broken", I requested for one anyway(thinking they'll send me the newer version but they didn't cry )
All u really have to do is tell apple the problem, they'll overnight u a new one and u ship ur old one in a prepaid env.
U got nothing to lose D

yep...u don't even have to leave ur house. DHL overnights it, and u just ship it back in the same envelope by scheduling a pickup from DHL.
I seriously doubt apple test them so its basically a free earbud upgrade whether or not its broken.

oh yea...u MUST be within the 1 year apple warranty.

I don't think I had any problem. I paid with paypal, and a day later my status had changed to "Received - waiting to be packaged," so it should be shipped shortly.
