buy.com pre-order trick for GCO (wiiplay w/ remote for $40)

You can put wii-play (or another pre-order title), add a cheap filler and use the link below to enter Google checkout for the $20 off $50 and get it for $40. Normally, they don't allow the use of GCO for pre-orders, hence the link. The remotes themselves are $35 + tax so I thought it was a good deal. I'd sell the remote that comes with the game on ebay, since I already have enough, to make the deal better. Still, I wouldn't say it's a killer deal, you're saving about $10.

There is a risk that they may cancel because of the hack but people on SD are already getting their first filler item shipped. Buy.com only sees that you placed a $60 order.

I just tried and it worked with wii play, but it may not work for some other products. Also make sure to copy and paste the link so it doesn't go through fipg or SD (I don't know if that does anything but just in case). And don't forget the filler to get $20 off instead of just $10.

bingo it worked, thanks man. I now have a SD card, an extra wiimote, an extra game, componant cables. everything but the damn wii!
