I think I might go with this one instead.

Way way better. If you are looking to actually record shows go with the WinTV PVR-150. This is good if you just need something cheap to just see it. The PVR-150 has a mpeg2 decoder chip on it so it does hardware encoding straight to mpeg2 (dvds codex). A mpeg2 decoder chip is a requirment if you have a slow CPU and want to save some space.
