Nope, just read about it. It actually enables your games online, even if it doesn't have online multiplayer. For instance, Lumines, you can play against someone else when next to them, but no online play. If you put the USB adapter into your computer, set up an access point, and set it through your internet connection, you can actually play Lumines online. )

It's a router for those who don't want to buy one.
