And do you know if I need to have an account (for shopping for tunes and stuff) set up with my phone to receive the tone? I realized after I redeemed that that may make a difference...

I have no idea about any of the questions - I have VZW service and received the goft cards as part of a promo. In cleaning my desk this morning, I found them and thought someone could use them.
