I have a couple of these I got for $1 each on my last LEDSHOPPE order. )

Work pretty good actually. I didn't think for a buck they would hold up, but mine has survived being in my pocket full of keys, knife, and change now for several months. And I've got a spare should this one finally die.

Definitely worth the money. LEDSHOPPE is cool for cheap imported stuff, I've ordered from them a few times. They're in Hong Kong but shipping times have always been reasonable (1-2 weeks to get it).

I take it these are far superior to the ones I see in 99 cent shops all the time? This also looks like another Axshop, but not quite as cheap. The iPod accessories are at least a dollar more than Axshop used to be.

I haven't seen any of the 99 cent ones, so I'm not sure. Admittedly I wasn't that impressed with the construction when I got these, they seemed really cheap (thin aluminum casing). But I've had one in my pocket banging around with everything else in there for a few months now, use it pretty often, and it still works great. The laser warning decal has worn off, but otherwise it's still intact. I haven't opened the other one yet, it's still sealed in the package as a backup for when the batteries die in this one -- you can't buy replacement batteries for a $1, so it's cheaper to just toss the whole thing and buy another. )

The reason I said it looked like Axshop, was that I saw that some of the iPod accessories [b14e5cc3241]were the same exact 5G ones I saw on Axshop[/b14e5cc3241], yet a few bucks more, at least. Yet, they seem to have far less than Axshop. They don't seem to have any 4G stuff, for instance.

AxShop had free shipping on certain items all the time, and I think free shipping on anything some of the time, too.

That sounds like the ones I see in the 99 cent shops, although those usually come boxed, rather than blister packed. Also, there's some variety in the ones I've seen. Some come with exchangable caps with etched designs to project at the target. I remember picking up some with 7 or 8 caps for friends, only to notice a couple of weeks later that there were sets with over twice as many. Cheap stuff though, like you said. It may usually easier to buy another than spend three times as much to replace the batteries, although I've noticed the 99 cent shops are starting to carry those too, yet aren't as long lasting as silver oxides.

I also had a laugh at some other accessories on this site. They have a 99 cent "multimeter" for around $8. )

Does anyone know of any other online shops like these? I've been looking for another 4G remote for what I paid at Axshop. Maybe there's another out there.

Oh yeah, I've seen them before. Quite close to AxShop, but only slightly more expensive. I remember debating whether this company would shaft me with customs fees on shipping since they ship direct from Hong Kong or China. AxShop got their stuff from Asia, but they shipped domestically. I think customers saved on shipping that way.

EDIT The also don't have the 4G inline remote I got from Axshop, just the a 5G one (Stupid design) one for the Nano.

Right, I remember discussing this with you before.

I had heard of the opposite having happened with things coming from HK, but I can't say that of the sites in question. It was just a personal fear, not an accusation. I got mine today, it's awesome because they all come in their little baggies with 3 of those little cell batteries, then there's a stip of like, 10 more of them. They're nice, pretty strong too considering the price and whatnot, and the LED light is bright

Mine came in today. I was surprised, expected them to take longer. I haven't checked if all work yet. I got the strip of 10 extra batteries as well lol.

I probably won't find out which of these is broken and which batteries are dead till whenever I open em (might be years lol)

I opened one and it worked good for about 30 seconds and now it's very dull.
