If you don't mind ebay..

10' for $4.00 shipped
15' for $6 shipped

20' for $14 shipped

You might be able to find better deals.. I just looked for like a minute.

Yeah, I went the eBay route too. I bought like three 20' ones in the past, and it was a good deal.

You can get 6' ones in 99 cent shops now, too.

Aha, that's the stuff I was looking for...I had already checked monoprice and eBay.

I've seen several brands, and repacks of them. They're gonna vary by store, but all the ones I've seen are quality. (Probably closeouts)

They even have had colors like blue and green.

Good luck.

Great, that will be helpful. I use a Dell 400SC Server as my desktop pc, and while it's great, the USB ports in the front are hidden behind a panel, because Dell though no-one buying a server would ever have need for USB ports...and so everytime I plug in my memory key I have to climb behind my desk to do so. What a PIA.

jackasses (who sold me more 400SCs that I can count for $179, that I resold for $350 a piece).

You mean the ports in the front are actually there, and connected to the mobo headers?

I can imagine the chassis having the option, like punch-outs for the jacks to be installed through, but having them there, and non-accessible is really weird.

Are you certain the panel doesn't flip up? (Usually the case)

Yep, everything is enabled (there's an entire forum dedicated to these servers - www.poweredgeforums.com), but the front bezel doesn't have an opening for the USB (or headphone) jacks. Enterprising folks figured out that Dell sold a whitebox version of the server called a 510D, which had a different bezel (that had a molded cutout for access).

Anyway, that bezel is hard to find, I don't want to hack up the front of my PC to get access to the USB ports, and for $0.99 I'm happy to drape a USB cable through my desk.
