I meant to put this with my xbox post, but I also have a bunch of copies of vol 1. - vol. 4 of fullmetal alchemist series. It is in japanese with english subs. If anybody is interested pm me. The entire series is 8 volumes.

Are those ORIGINAL xbox games (like the original dics, case, etc)?
or games from your HDD?

The dog, Higgins is not included. He is only 5 and half months old and he is scratching to go out right now.

What exactly does 'bunch of copies' mean? Just some burned copies you have?

Also, do they have an optional english track? Normally I prefer subbing, but I got used to the english FMA on Adult Swim and like the voices.

they are the offical japanese releases. they only have japanese audio and english subs.

Eh...

OFFICIAL Japanese DVDs RARELY ever come with English Subs. I am 100% sure that Fullmetal Alchemist is not an exception here. Most Japanese anime DVDs do not have English subs. I think one of the reasons for that is because they wouldn't be able to make as much money selling liscences to the USA if they were adding English subtitles to thier DVDs......... That and I don't think many Japanese people care for English subtitles seeing as they already understand the dialogue.

I don't mean for this to come off as a flame, I just despise Taiwan/HongKong bootlegs...

Not true all of my Sailor Moon box sets have English subtitles oops However two seasons of the series have dubbed English and Japanese, but the Stars series is all Japanese with English subtitles and Region Free

Are you sure that you don't own the ADV releases? The first two seasons were released (but now are OOP) with ONLY Japanese dialogue and English Subtitles. It's not a Japanese import however... I was talking about Official Japanese DVDs that are imported. The region free bit is a total giveaway that it is not legit seeing as Japanese DVDs are strictly R2, even the ones that do come with the odd English subtitles. Unfortunately the Stars season is probably only obtainable through bootlegged copies if you want English subtitles, seeing as it hasn't been liscenced here in North America, nor would it anytime too soon...

Well if you had pictures I could easily tell you if it was a bootlegged copy or not. wink
