Wanted:Broken iPods?

Does anyone have a broken iPod (don't care about the model..just o shuffles) that they would sell basicly to cover the cost of shipping? (a little more for newer iPods)

I will pay with paypal but I have to pay from a credit card. No referal trades! I don't have a prepaid CC yet so I can't complete any offers!

But wouldn't the iPod need to be in fully functional for them to honor the 10% off? I'm sure those 'Genius Bar' people will test the iPod to be sure..

Other than that 10% iPod swap (which won't work if the unit is broken).. Replacement Parts? or maybe he wants to show off that he has an iPod and deserves everyone's attention? [Not much you can do with a broken iPod] shrug

Oh No I have a 30GB Video already..don't need a new one! I just know how to fix them and I know how to use ebay ;) I don't care whats wrong with it. (unless lieverythingli is broken)

Obviously, but obviously he might want if for a reason beyond learning to fix it. Maybe he wants to practice throwing them off skyscrapers at traffic? Maybe he's in some kind of karate, and got tired of splitting bricks and wood, so he wants to try his luck on medal and plastic? DUH, did you ever stop to consider all the possibilities before you had to tell me how obviously wrong I am?

The iPod doesn't need to be functioning to be used for 10% off...at least not at the Apple Store here in Syracuse, NY.

They're quite easy to fix, the bitch is getting replacement parts shock

BUT!

That was not my reason of posting. I really do just want to buy broken ipods (for cheap!) and tinker/fix them. Then either sell most of the fixed ones and keep a few older ipods to do fun but usless mods to...such as play movies on a black&white screen ) ... Also, an old 1st gen is what I'm mostly interested in at this time. It is fully supported by ipodlinux and has a serial port so I can finally finish my "iPod with Keyboard" experiment!

I have a 10gb 1 gen I'll sell ya, the only problem is the LCD is gone, and these take seperate LCDs than the others, they're not just snap in, they're...different
