I was speaking with him in an IM and I asked him how he had so many dvds and how he could sell complete seasons for so cheap, he told me because they were "unlicensed", so i asked what he meant by that, and he told me that his company makes the dvds.

probably because that is the oldest, most unconvincing line ever given. surely, an official would not have the lack of punctuation and capitalization that i have.
anyways. that being said. if its a copy of a movie, it is a bootleg. yes, bootleg is a name, and that is exactly what it is. thats like saying "well, 'tree' is just a name, its 50 feet tall and has many leaves, but i guarantee you it is not like those trees!"
