I would like to tell you all about a new eBay auction sniping program called Unwired Buyer.

Unwired Buyer is a website which has been approved with eBay and integrates itself with eBay to provide an effective auction sniping program for those in-demand items that everyone wants.

You signup for the service, then input your eBay username/password so the program can autobid for you when you ask it to. You then goto eBay, find whatever item you're interested, and click on "Watch this item". On your Unwired Buyer account page, it will show the items you are currently watching.

Three minutes before an auction you're watching is set to end, you will receive a phone call from Unwired Buyer (and if you want, an SMS text message). The automated phone call will ask for your verification PIN to continue, then will tell you about the auction you are bidding on followed by an option for you to bid on the item using your touch tone phone. Once you bid on the item they will repeat the amount of time left in the auction, the current price, and if you are the high bidder or not. This goes on for the three minutes of the call until the auction is up. Each time you hear the current price, you are given an option to bid again in case somebody outbids you.

The call will end once the auction ends with the automated voice telling you whether you won the auction or not.

I just used this service to auction snipe three volumes of a manga called "Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle" for a penny plus $12 S&H (yeah that seller's avoiding eBay fees, the bastard =P).

Moments after completing your first bid/auction through Unwired Buyer, you get an email from them about your signup bonus of $20 (this used to be $10, and their email header still says $10 but the body text says it's $20) and you have to click a link to veirfy your email address. Make sure the email you sign up with is your Paypal address.

The $20 should hit your Paypal within 1-2 business days.

On top of that, it has a referral program $5 Paypal is sent to you for everybody you refer.

If anybody's interested in Unwired Buyer, you can check it out yourself and sign up unreferred but if you want to help me out, y'know, just PM me for a link.

Meh, I'm happy with my current auction sniping service. Snipes without having to call me or anything. BTW How much does it cost to snipe an action with Unwired Buyer?

It's free. They call you up, you enter your bid and press pound, they place the bid for you.

I'm old school—I just refresh every second for the last hour of the auction.

lol. I can't stand doing that, I might risk my Safari crashing after like a month of continuous use and sleep mode...

How's it free, if they give you $20? They gotta make their money somehow.

Good question, I just looked that up in the FAQ but not a clear answer

[quotebf2d823b79]How can this service be free? Is there a catch?
There is no "catch." The service is completely free to end users. Of course we have to make money somehow, but we've designed the service with eBay's affiliate program in mind. Basically, eBay compensates us through their program for each winning bid placed through UnWired Buyer, which is why we say When you win, we win![/quotebf2d823b79]

You don't have to win, just place a bid. Yes, you can just bid once or not even bid when they call.
