by the way the video program is just linux, for anyone that is interested. It is free, and don't be enticed to pay more for an ipod because of that, unless it's a video iPod ;-) Video for iPods on Linux is uncompressed and takes up more space for that small black and white screen a full screen color video...

Anyone can get Linux for most of the iPods at http//www.ipodlinux.org/[]http//www.ipodlinux.org/ and if they don't have your iPod on there, google ipod linux with your iPod type...

Play videos, even plug a microphone directly into 4G iPods with Linux on there, not to mention you can play Doom on your 5G or Nano....in color, it's pretty cool....try it but make sure you backup your ipod before you install it, it's not covered by warranty.... I'll take a little karma if anyone feels this advice worthy of such ;-) Don't fry your iPod, just follow the instructions and back it up...
