Was just browsing eBay and found this.....Pretty good if you're one for going to the movies a lot.

Check his past auctions...lots of these fandango bucks selling progressively cheaper and cheaper....I'm not accusing anyone of anything...it's a great deal...but...

I'm just remembering DLF.

You can order movie tickets online, print them, and just go right into the theater. Or you can like print out a code or insert your credit card into a machine at some theaters and print your ticket there.

What is DLF? Are these safe to buy? My cousin goes to movies a whole lot and I want to sugguest this to him. Is there any way that this is a scam?

DLF is a person, Dudelovesfinch. He scammed a lot of people with half.com certificates by selling them for half the price, such that you pay him $50 for $100 in Half.com certs.

I don't think either of these 'stories' are truthful. He seemed pretty sincere when saying his cousin or brother or something worked at half.com and he got them for discounted pricecs.....but that really doesn't make sense...ahh maybe he is a scammer roll

Anyway if the Fandango bucks you buy off eBay don't work, you can always report the guy, get him suspended, and get PayPal to give you your money back.

Note - eBay cancelled the auction, it's now a link to an invalid listing.

hehehhehe

Sigh... I paid for two and then ebay cancelled the auction an hour later. I know at least one other member here who paid too but maybe he got his codes.

Fandango codes often go cheap anyway so I wasn't as suspicious as I shoulda been.

When I found the link there had been one purchase, I wonder if that guy got his codes, and I wonder why the auction was cancelled. You'll have to fill us in on weather or not you got them or not

About the Fandango dollars

I got two free tickets for purchasing my Sony Ericsson S710 from Cingular (authorized reseller/dealer in some Chinese market which meant I got it for like $50). They were Fandango, and my date flaked out on me that day (=/) so I actually got refunded in CASH for two Fandango tickets that I never paid for in the first place O_O

Haven't tried it since though =P

Oh and yeah Brassai, humor me too. COULD YOU BE DLF?

EDIT
23 posts/day? Sounds like PNAA...

Like I said in the dlf's birthday thread, when I first got here I was looking through the "stats" page and read the thread "nobody buys giftcards until I talk to finch" or whatever, and I skimmed through the topic.....

Didn't even realize I was posting that much, I'll cut down
