But it IS your fault if you exploit that... that is what I've been trying to say guys are "retarded and testosterone-driven" and there are girls who know that and use it to get the guy to buy stuff for them. I could just as easily say it's not OUR fault that we were born with testosterone and get turned on easily, but it's how men are and there isn't a lot we can do to change that.

I have to say that things are different over here in Germany. First of all, it’s not as common for guys to pay for drinks/stuff/whatever. When I was in the US, men offered to buy me drinks all the flipping time, which was really annoying. To me, this always sounded as if I was for sale or something. Besides I don’t drink, too (which is a shame cause we’re allowed to drink at the age of 16)
Usually, when I’m having dinner with a guy (or a girl, hehe, you never know), I insist on splitting the bill or I pay one day and he/she pays on another occasion, it’s just a matter of decency to me.
Also, I’m a student and tend to date other students, so we’re not taking advantage (in a financial way, right) of each other since we’re all broke more or less.
I’m aware of the fact, though, that things work out differently in the States. You’re much more into that whole dating thing. Germans are… how shall I put it… short-spoken? Cagey? Unsociable even? It just takes longer to get in contact.

Geez guys, I can guarentee that you've gotten more free stuff than I ever have. (I've only completed one site...none of which have any of the referrals gone through because I'm a girl. 90% of the people I've traded with have initially thought I was a guy, and only later did I tell them otherwise.) I don't know many girls who are often given things freely. Maybe instead of blaming girls, you should take some responsibility for being so over zealous that you'll drop some cash anytime a pretty face bats an eyelash at you.

Too much boobie oggling and talking about the perfect size and what not...those boobies are attatched to a fully functional, emotive human being, and some comments were pretty objectifing. ...you guys made her feel uncomfortable..if you want girls to stick around, I would advise against making comments that relate girls to little more than sexual objects purely for your own enjoyment. I know most of them were in jest, but it really does make one wonder.
Oh, and to the guy who said all the girls he's ever dated have just been in it to mooch off you..maybe you should reevaluate the girls you are after.
I try and make things as even as possible with my boyfriend, but he does have a job right now, while I don't..(it's my first semester of college..so sue me!! lol) . I'm not here to sing my own praises, but just to point out that your few bad experiences do not totally encompass the entire female population. My bf has a job, and I don't right now, so he often pays because of that. However, I do help pay as much as I can. I often am the one to shoot down his offers to go out for a meal, because neither of us can afford it. When we do go out, I make every effort to make it equal. In fact..sometimes when I am at the store with him, buying my own necessities, he will whip out his card and slide it through the machine before I can even get to my own. He has even gone so far as to pull the whole "look over there" routine to distract me ) I've only fallen for it once though...silly boy. Anyway, there are lots of girls out there who will be considerate of the costs of courtship
