I want to sell my Ibook that I recently got from IRC. The box is still sealed so you might be able to trade it in for credit at an Apple store. The Ibook is BRAND SPANKING NEW. Right now I wouldn't mind $900 shipped[/color77cdb97fff] to your house but I am OPEN TO ANY OFFERS[/color77cdb97fff]. I had some pictures of it on my camera phone but my service is down for right now so they cannot be uploaded. If there is some good interest I will get pictures of it.
Specs taken right off the box
1.33ghz PowerPC G4 processor; 512k level 2 cache.
512MB of DDR SDRAM; supports up to 1.5 GB.
40GB ultra ata hard drive.
As well as some other great features (more specs with request)

Well I planned on trading it in at the Apple store for whichever Ipod that holds its value best on Ebay.

I got $833 after shipping for my sealed iBook from IRC. I expected to get more. It sold for $798 then shipping made it $833. I started it at $0.01, no reserve, actual pics, and lower shipping than the other iBooks being sold. I don't know why it didn't sell for higher. I think other people had their friends bid up their auctions because I don't see how mine didn't sell for as much. I think I may use stock photos next time just because they are so professional and people obviously don't care.

Shorty and cyber punk thanks for the suggestions. I think I might do one of those. Shorty if you could maybe for some karma send me a link of your auction or the pictures and descripition used... it would be much appreciated o

I see how it is... well I will send you my link anyways. Even though you didn't ask for it.

Hmm... that's weird. When I click on it, the template that I bought doesn't show up anymore. It wasn't just a plain white background like that, it had some design that I paid like 0.30 cents for.

Your title prolly killed it..

Does not say mac, apple, laptop, etc.. No1 is gonna put "never been opened" into search..

Oh yeah. That is a good point. This was my first time to sell anything on eBay and I did have iBook first. I just wanted people to see that it was brand new, that's why I put that. I should have put laptop or Apple though, you're right. I may end up selling my camera on eBay soon and that is a thing I will have to work on, making a good titiel that people will search for.

Noticed it is in the category of those words though.. oops

I'm pretty sure that the category words are also searchable, not 100% on that though.

Yeah, your best bet would be selling it on eBay or returning at Apple store.....I'd doubt you would get all that much(its actual value) from someone on a freebie site, lol.

Oh I know but I noticed someone else posted an Ibook they didn't have and some people were interested so I figured why not post mine in the meantime..

Bad choice... people know that Apple is coming out with iBook's that will be faster and intel based before the end of this year so your iBook isn't going to sell for as much.

I've got one listed now for just over 800.

I started at .01 with an $850 buy it now. Alot of newbs bidding which is making me nervous, but it still has a few hours left.

Geeze. A regular iBook from IRC? That's pretty close to actual cost from the Apple site. I am very surprised.

I just now got my eBay bill from my iBook auction for like $30 bucks. I think I may try to figure out another way to sell my digital camera instead of using eBay. Any ideas?

Anyone want to buy a Sony Cybershot DSC-N1 that has barely been touched and is packed up already like new? Let me know.

Craig's List? It must work pretty well, because I saw a report on TV about someone put an advertisement on CL saying that he was giving away his ferarri to the first person who showed up to claim it. A lot of people showed up to get it. Problem was the guy who put up the advertisement didn't own the ferrari. It was someone else. They never found who did it, but it shows that it must be pretty effective. You could try that.

IMO it is worth it to pay the 50 cents or whatever to get a subtitle... your title can say about it being apple or whatever, then in your subtitle you can include things about 'no reserve', 'brand new in box', 'never opened' or things like that. What's 50 cents when you're selling it for over 800? Plus you might get more bids from it.

just my .02 for if you ever decide to sell on eBay again
