They are available in some markets, but not everywhere.
At least once a week, somebody walks into a Target store out in Amish country, sees 2 of them in stock, then races to FIPG and posts "OMG Freepay sucks you can get a 360 ANYWHERE, I just saw 5."

Must be something to do with your area. I called 5 different Best Buy stores (I have giftcards) and then a couple Circuit City stores (out of curiosity). None of them have any.
