Nice find! I think I'll get one. I only have a crappy 11mbps one, which I can sell on eBay to cover the cost of shipping wink It ends on 2.28.06, so only a couple more biz. days left! +Karma
liEdit Ordered ) They must do a lot of these free things cuz they also have a 128mb SD card for free after rebates. shrug

I've been using TigerDirect for all of my computer/tech needs for the past 2-3 years and I have never had a single problem with rebates.
In the past year or so, they've started using OnRebate.com, making the rebates not only more reliable, but quicker too (you can have them send you the money through Paypal in 2-3 business days as opposed to 4-6 weeks by snail mail).
Now, if you were talking about CompUSA, I would wholeheartedly agree with you; on the majority of rebates I had through them, I had to actually call them up and remind them that they owed me money.

It comes with some crappy software and you have to wait for a rebate, but FREE is always worth it.
TigerDirect has always been great with rebates (in my experience) so you end up paying around $8-$10 for shipping.[/quotee406c97482]
Tiger Direct was notoriously bad with rebates for years. I wouldn't buy anything from them with the intention of getting your rebate.[/quotee406c97482]
i bought something from then a while ago where the rebate was about 70% of the price and i never heard about it again even though i sent it in wih ta tracking number and was sure i filled in everything. the company that managed the rebate had a fake contact number and no email support... that's why i never buy anything where the rebate accounts for more than 50% of the price
