according to this[=http//www.mobiletracker.net/archives/2004/08/01/motorola_razr_v.php]this it doesn't work with verizon.
I have cingular which is why I'm considering getting one of these.

That's a really old article john - You can search Amazon and see that there are now RAZRs for Verizon.

Good call. I just googled 'razr carriers', so that's why I said according to this article.

The box and price lead me to conclude this is a Cingular Razr.
