I know, the BIN is high, but I figured shoot big. Reserve is set at $375, which is more than fair for a $500 computer.

Got it from an NuiTech site, ConsumerIncentivePromotions.

Ok..my reserve has been met, but the bidder only has 1 feedback and hasn't bought anything since October 2004...should I be worried? The auction still has 6 days left, but I don't want to be screwed over.

Ok, here's what happened

I sent a message to the guy with 1 feedback and asked how he would pay. He replied this

This made me suspicious, so I sent him a message back and changed my listing to say that my friends have been screwed by chargebacks from scammers and I would only be accepting money orders as payment for this auction (actually, I WOULD accept PayPal, if the person had good feedback).

He then said

Yeah, I think I'm just going to end the auction and take a money order from you to avoid PayPal fees.

I agree with the bidder, you changed the sale terms and he has a right to withdraw his bid. nothing really suspicious at all about him.

yeah hopefully the mini mac comes before saturday or on saturday.... i dont know how he will deliver it... lets hope mista TC comes through!

Oh I will, my mom is going to be out so she will get to ship it sooner than me (probably around 10 or 11 tomorrow morning), but UPS doesn't deliver on Saturdays or Sundays to my knowledge, so you will probably get it Monday, or Tuesday at the latest.

Tyler why don't you get a UPS account and send it 2nd day only costs like $15 dollars.

I don't ship via UPS that much to make it worth it.

tylerc did an awesome job working with me. i paid him 380 for the thing and 63 for shipping. i paid him via paypal and no problems. he shipped it to me friday and got it to me by saturday. we live like 6 hours away driving distance but i wanted the mac mini bad so i paid that extra to get it here faster. Oh well, still cheaper than if i were to have bought it even with my student discount through apple. this guy did everything i asked him to do and was an excellent seller. hopefully he will have the same nice comments for me as well! thanks for the mac mini tylerc!

I have no complaints either, gave me a good amount for the Mac Mini, paid me instantly via PayPal (only bad thing is the fees).

Thanks for the smooth transaction, if only every transaction went this smooth!
