You have to realize that I also had to pay for shipping and California tax on these nano tubes. So when you calculate it together $10 shipped is not a bad price at all. I'm really only making about $1-$2 in profit... not including paypal fees...

First off, if you buy online, there shouldnt be tax. Second off, the shipping is $4 bucks on the apple store. That would make your total to be around $34 bucks. Divide that by 5, you get $6.80. $3.20 profit each.

So you bought these just so you could sell them here?

Yep.. The law is that if the company has a physical location in the state that is being shipped to, state sales tax applies.
