First let em say I have gotten several of these from finches. I got some from trading and bought his last $200 thread here. So seems on the up and up. Used them and all was good.
So I could care less how he gets them as long as they work. I dont plan on saving them, lol.
Also I am pretty sure they come in $50 and $100 denominations. So I dont think it would be a problem splitting them. Just have him send $550 worth of codes to one person and same to another.

That is how much it was total, so with the giftcard. I splited it with nusqax, had him paypal me 300 (291$ after fees), gave him 600$ worth of gift certs and kept the 500$ for myself. Used all 500$GC + 67$ out of pocket. Making it 500-291=209$ payed for 500$ in GC and 67$ out of pocket so 209+67=276$ for a xbox 360 premium bundle.
