Word around the forums is that you get a $700 VISA GC in place of the phone. I don't think anyone has completed it recently, but I do believe a few are in the process of completing the site now. I have not done the site and don't know what gift you get, just what I've heard.

because my gf and i both did this site at her place and i didn't want to get DQed by having the same external IP. i did my offers over 3g while she completed hers over her wifi. ideal is pretty rough with DQs. i'd much rather buy one more offer for the replacement than be out $700 + the $40 or so i spent on the offers.

They won't. Doing a replacement is the way to go, especially since you've come this far and invested money in the site. I didn't understand why you used your phone either, but now that you explained it it's clear. D

I'm not sure if I completely understand your question, but I'm assuming you meant to say that if you did two offers and they get approved can the 6 replacements get approved in a day. short answer, no.

that would be mathematically impossible. you need at least one offer per group to credit before a 24 hour replacement credit can be earned. if only 2 got approved, then there is a minimum of one group that has 0 offers approved (assuming this is a standard 8 offer site). consequently, you would have to wait another 10 day cycle to generate credits for that group.

well a lot of people dont seem to know it, as the same questions come up over and over again. you know how complicated explaining ideal answers can get. that is great info and it should be stickied again, for new and old users alike. also it should be updated with the 1/3/10 crediting ive been reading about for their new sites. i really think the time has come for an ideal faq sticky again. just my 2 cents. the forum shouldnt just cater to the experts and leave the rest on their own.

The multi level crediting is not new. There have been pages on sites that take 30 days to credit. The key w/ ideal is generally a whole page credits at the same time.

Same thing happened to me.. now when I click on any offer it doesn't go to pending.... I don't think this is going to work

Sometimes the offers just won't show up, DON'T do them if they don't show up under your status as "Pending", you won't get credit. Clear cookies/cache/temporary internet files out, and try again tomorrow.

lifelock, photocubbie and jewelry savings plan have not been showing up on the account page. coincidentally their product names are not listed on the offer pages. saverclubmax used to be a problem but looks like they fixed that. avoid these offers for now. when you do new offers, refresh your account page to make sure the offer pops up, then do the offer. )

Thanks for the heads up on the JSP offer - that was one I was thinking of doing. Have to be so careful with ideal and there same email per dba rule, and the 6 month rule on offers, and the dollar amount allowed per 6 months. Hopefully this one will go through ok.

I wouldn't really cound Reward Depot as oneof the standard sites since you can only do one site once in a life time.

Nuitech pays but the payout ratio doesn't seem quite as good, especially since they have that clause where you have to keep offers past trial. most offers are really expensive and dont work anyway.

Ideal seems to the be the only one with "good" deals

That's a good way to look at it. I checked and the offers I did a day or two later were the ones on the gold and silver, so maybe they will show up 10 days from the day I did them - which would be Fri and Sat. Who knows. I can't imagine they can still find that phone at a reputable place - most that I saw out there are all refurbished junk.

eh...that site pcmonde has a bunch of palm treo 350s for some reason. i emailed them asking to "buy in bulk" to see what their inventory was like, and they said they had a lot.

Right.. you'd think they'd send out the updated version. Do they really need to pay $350 for that phone? If they got their supply from pcmonde they just wasted atleast $250 and created a problem for their customer. We took a risk when we signed up for this so they have every right to send out this phone, but sending out this old phone isn't the best of decisions. Relatively small number of people might be getting screwed over with this deal, but how many of us have referred other people Ideal sites? I've referred 3 people who completed at least 2 sites in the last two months and will continue to complete sites in the future. Will they really save any money by sending out this phone compared to what they stand to gain keeping us happy? I doubt it. I guess it could be worse, but It doesn't matter now.

but i have an alterative suggestion for returning it yourself. sift through newegg.com's policies and find the way you can return it and request the rma number yourself, if needed. if youre not sure of their policy call them and ask, say it was a gift.

speaking from experience, ideal bought the phone from newegg, took out the invoice, replaced it with the customer service letter, repackaged it, and mailed it to you. so there you go, give it a shot. but DONT email ideal customer service about it. your on your own.

The person before was talking about pcmonde having them in stock, not newegg. Also, I believe someone stated that they received a product from Ideal and it was in a completely unrelated box, so it might not have been shipped from newegg, who knows...
