Hmm, I do not know if I could recommend Brandarama anymore. I have completed gifts in November 2007, and its 13 months now and I still have not received my $1500 gift card yet. They do respond to my emails and tell me they are backed up in shipping out things. But does it really take a year to ship something?

Has anybody else been having these massive delays with Brandarama. I am loosing faith in them, and personally I think they goofed up offering gifts with so little to complete them, and are probably loosing money. My guess is , they will be going brankrupt soon. Something just seems wrong when they stall over a year to send out something, and say to me its because they are backed up. I think they are having financial problems.

What everyone thing?

I dont know, if you complete sites now it would be an unexpected suprise some 2 years from now when you finally do get it. DIY probably wont even be around in 2 years and youd still be making money.

While I didn't go as far into it at ZR did, I can share some of his frustration. Everyone complains about Brandarama's shipping times.

Everyone is well aware of the shipping times BEFORE they do the sites. If you don't like the shipping times, don't do the sites. It's really that simple and when everyone gets on here complaining on a daily basis it gets annoying to people that post here a lot.

I'm not flaming you or singling you out, I'm just trying to explain where ZR is coming from.

Not really. When people did this site in August, it was not known it took over 14 months to get their gift.

Actually, I'll rephrase that.

People did not know it took over 14 months to maybe get their gift.

I don't know why people aren't just writing this off as a loss now. Don't count on it coming. If it comes, then celebrate.

i dont see any reason to write it off as a loss. brandarama makes a TON of money. the longer they dont pay out the more money in interest or something like that. i am not concerned at all about not getting my gift. With that said I hate playing the waiting as much as anyone else here

I can honestly say that I knew there would be a long wait when I completed my sites earlier this year. But I figured it would be worth it because of how easy their sites are to complete. I actually have no reason to think they won't send us our gifts. Thats just how I feel.

ding! when i signed up the wait was 3-4 months not the 6-8 weeks the site claimed. Fine I knew that coming. I still went ahead. [bb9102e46a6]Nobody nowhere[/bb9102e46a6] said it would take longer and deff not 14+ months to maybe get a prize. Had I known this I would have taken my money, time and offers and focused on Ideal and YFD sites.

Too much energy is being focused on this issue. I to have many gifts pending. At this point there is nothing to be done. Move on and give it a rest.

Why write it off as a loss? They are still shipping out gift; I got one like a month ago that took 12 months to get, and guesstimate that my next gift will come end of january most likely. (CTS Nov).

When was this? The quickest Brandarama shipping cycle I remember was around 9 months, and that was a couple years ago. Since then it has been roughly a year or more. I have a site parked since April 2007, and when I signed up I knew THEN that it would be at least a year before I shipped, which is what caused me to hold off and pursue other sites. Of course had I done it then, I would have been paid by now.

3-4 months sounds more like YFD, or I-Deal during a bad cycle, but not the Brandarama I've known.

I also remember the first orders only taking 3-4 months dmorris, think this was a couple years ago..

Yea, the 2007 summer the wait wasn't too long. It was less than 6 months for sure. Hell, they've been on August/October for the past 5 or 6 months. It wasn't even close to 12 months until this past summer.

ILoveToys

11-12-2008 18:47:45

Yeah...I did 3 brandarama sites in the spring of 2007 and was paid by all 3 of them by like October, and longest I waited was like 4 or 5 months.

Blame it on my old, bad memory then. I could still swear that it was on the order of a year when I parked the $1000 YTB Gameroom site, which is why I put it off. Had I known it to be 4-5 months then, I would have jumped on it. I just checked, and I parked the site on 4/18/07. It's still active too, 4 offers for $1000, I should probably just do it and then promptly forget about it. Maybe in 2 years $1000 bucks will show up unexpected...

Hey.

Just wanted to apologize for being an ass. Just a little frustration and should have approached it differently.

As far as the main issue of my post, just please read around before posting anything.

I just got a letter for a $825 Norstroms gift card, they said i had to buy ONE item up to $825, then send in the Proof of purchase, along with other things for shipping and ID, then in 8-10 weeks from the recieved date i will get a check for the amount i spent...has anyone done this? this is after doing the site for it in sept. just to let you know.
