I think once you get DQ'd on one I-Deal site, you should avoid all I-Deal sites. Can somebody confirm this?

Not true. There is nothing wrong with IDEAL when you do things right. If I were you, I would jsut email them after you sign up and make sure that you are okay to pursue the site. If they say yes, then go ahead.
What DBA did you get DQ'ed on? What was the DQ for?

Yes. If they ask for a W9, you won't get the gift if you don't send it. I-Deal always asks for W9's and (AFAIK) always mails 1099-MISC forms.

They have been sending $640. Always send a W9 if they ask for it.

yes do that. Usually people that email them regarding the different email addy will get permission to pursue the site. You just have to make them aware of it though

My thoughts exactly. Make sure the sites are fully published. Or you could find yourself dq'd w/a bunch of wasted offers. Though I would suggest locking in on a few of those floating 6 offer $500 check sites.

Well, I emailed them and they didn't say I COULDNT do it, so I said what the hey and there were lots of offers I hadn't done, so I figured I'd give it a shot. It was Marketlabs that I had a problem with, but I did get that $1000 from hispeed media in December so maybe I-deal isn't ALL bad... LOL

i'm pretty sure i didn't because i didn't get anything from pc connections for a tv i received last october. i also don't remember getting anything with the laptop i received in july. even if i did, it was 13 months ago and i may have tossed it during a cleaning spree. if i did, i'll be the first to admit that was dumb.

I just said that because people have been reporting getting DQ'd and they aren't sure why. In the past i-deal hasn't enforced this rule and it is unknown if they are now. I'm just saying it's in their TOS. A year ago I did multiple scholastic offers on the same site without problem but they seem to be getting more strict now so I don't risk it. It's all theorizing right now... assuming i-deal isn't just randomly DQing people I'm not sure exactly what rule people are breaking, but that is just one idea that may or not be what it is.

I didn't know pain vanish was from silkies...I made sure not to do another silkies offer for my replacement because the first one didn't credit.

I-Deal has changed their terms in the past, or have been very lax about enforcing their own terms, so take this with a grain of salt. But back when I was doing them regularly their policy was that ALL offers were available provided you weren't duplicating the lisameli offer. Even if two offers were from the same company (despite what their terms say). I had this not only verified by an I-Deal rep, but after doing so I completed I-Deal sites using offers from the same company, and was not DQ'd.
That said, if you're the least bit concerned, open up a support ticket and ask about the specific offers you're interested in.

You have to expect the unexpected with I-deal. Just because some people got their gifts 10 days after being processed doesn't mean you will. They are pretty much all over the map with what they are sending to people and how long it will take to send it...not very reliable if you ask me. To be fair, i've been very lucky that someone has been reading my e-mails and responding to them. I haven't received the response i'm looking for, but in the short run i'll take it compared to not getting anything back at all.
Between my e-mails, phone calls, faxes and the certified letters i've peppered them with, i'm probably not their favorite person right now. But it is (was) a $700 monitor so I just can't toss it and say 'oh well'.

I think the reason why ppl are so annoyed is because there is no consistency. They get excited (like me) when they hear that someone got their gift a little after a week of being processed, so they kinda expect the same thing. But of course that doesn't happen..oh well whatever I'm over it

but when the checks/items arrive, they arrive in bunches. you can't compare the timeframe from one bunch to the timeframe of another bunch.

It wasn't because the replacements were 30-days ago... i-deal seemed to fix their problem and EVERYONE got credit yesterday. Also, I went 5/6 when I checked yesterday just like you. Only original offers credit at 12AM. Replacements have always credited in the early morning the next day.

Correct ..Ten days to credit..At least one offer in each section has to credit in order for replacements to credit within 24 hrs which they usually do .Ifurl==http://=http:///url lets say no offers credit in gold then the crediting cycle goes back to 10 days waiting time for that section

i contacted i-deal 1 year and one month after i received my monitor (the same day it crapped out on me) and i was VERY clear in all my correspondence that
a. i was not asking i-deal to replace the monitor
b. dell had a 3-year replacement warranty
whoever was answering the e-mails was absolutely no help at all. i received curt answers, the run around and was lied to. CS couldn't even make up a somewhat believeable lie.
had someone over there gave half a damn and made an honest attempt to help me out, there wouldn't have been an issue.
that's why i hate i-deal.

I don't think there are any bigger no-ref I-Deal sites currently. The best you'll do is probably 8+0 for $500. They seriously cut back on the easy big-ticket items they used to have. Anything big now requires like 12+1, and they now DQ for congas, making refs harder to get.

That's a fairly common occurrence -- they don't renew all of their domains, at least not right away. If your account has been approved, you should be processed and receive your gift anyway. The only time domain expiration poses a real problem is before your offers credit or before you're approved.

Well it depends if I-Deal is sending out a batch of checks or gifts. They just recently send out actual gifts. Maybe next time they will just send out checks. For the PS3, it is much cheaper for them to sell the actual system.

Their Terms and Conditions now requires a referral for the PS3. I started my offers on 4/16 before this was the case. 7 orf my 8 have credited and I just did an 8th. Yay! My ps3 came today! UPS guy came around 550pm and dropped it off while I was at work and my father answered the door. This is my first i-deal and first major freebie item.

Because I started an older I-Deal site within the 6 month period and did one offer before I realized I signed up with a different e-mail address. I then e-mailed I-Deal and asked if I could proceed, they said no. I forgot I even started it and apparently that one offer I did again somehow and it screwed me. I did receive my iPhone though from I-Deal so 1 out of 2 ain't so shabby )

People from April might of got theirs already.
I moved a week after I got processed, and they wouldn't respond to my emails.
So, the person in the apartment after me more than likely got themself a free PS3.

Just curious..
I got my friend interested in this stuff and I mentioned to him that the correct shipping address for Ideal is somewhere in PA.
he said taht his confirmation says to send certificate somewhere in delaware for him..
Should I advise him to stick with the delaware address or the PA address which i have used before with success.??

No, some of their DBAs are in Delaware, Nevada, and other places. Send it to the address on the claim forms.

I just woke up to the noise of my doorbell, stumbled out to see a man dressed in yellow with a box. Signed his little computer, then saw the box was for me. Opened it up, and theirs my brand new ps3! D Didn't take nearly as long as I expected! Only about 5 weeks start - ps3 at my door. Thanks ideal!!

Yeah, its the 40gig. I don't think they'll ship out 80gb anytime soon. Their already saving money on sending out a system worth $399 when the rest of their 8 offer sites are worth $500.

some people would rather get the actual system because they probably wouldn't buy one if they received a $500 card.

I'm just not sure whats going on? I don't think their on vacation because other people have had the same problem we're having fixed sometimes even within hours yet we have been waiting weeks....
